Hey there! My name is Jeremiah Marceaux. I am the owner and operator of TBC Contract Services, and at the core of who I am, I'm a devoted husband to my amazing wife and a proud dad to a little ball of energy named Charlotte. My world revolves around them, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
By day, you'll find me putting in the hours, giving my all to my work. I believe in putting in the effort because it's not just a job to me—it's a way to provide for my family and make a positive impact in our community. My strong work ethic is fueled by my love for the Lord. Faith is my anchor, guiding me through the highs and lows.
Beyond the nine-to-five hustle, I'm on a mission to spread God's love in Lafayette. I've discovered this incredible gift of craftsmanship, that I'm eager to share with the world, through my 18 years of experience. Whether it's through my hands-on work or a simple conversation, I'm all about making a difference and letting His light shine through me.
When I'm not shaping wood or spreading love, you'll likely catch me behind the lens of a camera. Photography is my way of freezing those precious moments in time, capturing the beauty of the outdoors—the perfect balance to my busy days.
Life's an adventure, and I'm here to embrace it with open arms, a grateful heart, and a passion for making each moment count
Work Background
I was born and raised in Texas where I met my beautiful wife and honed my craft. I worked in a number of jobs that led to a vast knowledge of my profession. Fresh out of high school I got hired to be a grunt in a welding company. I learned to weld, frame, and roof here. I quickly rose through the ranks and became supervisor within a year. Half a year later my thirst for knowledge led me to apartment maintenance. I landed a "Make-Ready" position at a run down 40 year old property that was comprised of over 700 units. Upon vacancy, the majority of these apartments were completely gutted and renovated. It was labor intensive work but I learned so much here of plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, drywall, and painting. I devoted 13 years to apartment maintenance. The last 5 of those years was as head of the maintenance department at a much newer and nicer community.
Branching out from apartments, I worked for a company building custom cabinets and installing wood flooring, then on to Contractor's Inc. They are a very large company with offices in many different cities and states. They cater more toward commercial and multi-family clients. We pretty much took care of jobs too large or outside the scope of work of the on-site maintenance team. Lastly, I went into kitchen and bathroom renovation where I learned the art of tiling. It was a very humbling experience to see such craftsmanship performed and to witness the patience shown to me as I learned to imitate it.
Texas has a lot of memories for me, but it is Cajun blood that runs through my veins. When at last I had the opportunity to move to Louisiana, I jumped at it without hesitation. I come from a long line of Marceauxs who call Louisiana home and longed to one day do the same. It didn't take long for us to feel right at home here. My family and I have been welcomed with open arms by everyone we meet. I decided, with the urging from my extremely supportive wife, to start my own business here. I look forward to serving this community as best I can for as many years as God and you good people will allow me.
